The public is invited to come enjoy the good food that will be available from vendors, including Barbecue cooked by Governors BBQ from Nashville, TN; and from other vendors: Fried Catfish, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Corn on the Cob, Snow Balls, Funnel Cakes, Lemonade, Cokes, Boiled Peanuts, Turkey Wings and More!!

We also have these fun activities for the kids: “Jump-N-G’s Inflatables”, “Mother Goose”, Face Painting & a Sand Pile (weather permitting).

TRASH to TREASURES Vendors will be set up on Saturday.

COOKING COMPETITION SCHEDULE:

Set-up: Thursday (April 10) until 9:00 pm and Friday (April 11) until 4:00 pm.

Cooks Meeting: Friday (April 11) at 5:00 pm. NEED TO BE THERE!
(Following will be a brief class on “turn-in box makeup”).

Cook’s Breakfast: Saturday (April 12) at 7:00 am.

Judges Registration: Saturday (April 12) from 10:30 to 11:00 am.

Judges Meeting: Saturday (April 12) at 11:15 am.

(There is only a 5 minute lead time on each side per category)

Awards Presentation: Saturday (April 12) at 4:00 pm

Ice will be on site starting Thursday for $5.00 per 25lb. bag. Upon request one bag will be FREE to each team. Please buy additional ice on site, as this will help our donations to the Humane Society. A tab can be run if requested. Budweiser is one of our sponsors and Budweiser beer (12 oz. cans) will be available on site for $20.00 per case. Again, if this is your brand, please buy it on site.

A team entry gate will be on the southwest corner of the cooking site. This gate must be accessed from Highway 45 South at the Black Prairie billboard. Please use this gate if you arrive after 3:00pm on Friday. Only one team vehicle will be allowed in the cook site. Please present the pass that was provided in your welcome package. NO motorized vehicle allowed in cooking area.
